Well the Trefonen G Wagen Club had an excellent trip today, thanks for leading the way John (shouldn’t the one with the GPS go first!?. But then again it is a local club for local people   )

Across the wayfarer, aborted attempt at the Corwen car wash. The kids were not convinced we should attempt it with the doors open in order to ensure the G’s sank enough to maintain traction. As the crow flies I don’t think we were actually further than 20 miles from home at any time.

V gully aka disco rollover route was interesting. Gday attempted a roll over but fortunately the trees he hit were stout enough to flip him back on to 4 wheels, or was that the plan John   ?

A few pic’s attached.

Re: Wayfarer

Russ it was a poor attempt at giving me a decent avatar photo, I had hoped the trees would give me that good 60 degree angle shot with something to lean on :D :D but ended up bouncing straight back on to all 4 wheels. All I need to do is repair the roof rail  and she will be back to looking her crusty best.

Shame we didn't have a photographer ready for those lean angles as we were both past 45 degrees a few times on the way down to Pandy.

A good day out which even my five year old thoroughly enjoyed.

Re: Wayfarer

Thanks Guys.

Anyone interested in the route. PM your email address and I will send you a memory map route, approx. 150Km with a large portion off road. We did maybe less than a 1/3 of it today, only others we saw were 4 or 5 bikers.

Re: Wayfarer

We really would have liked to join you today, but as you know I had a bit of trouble to sort out first. Mind you on this car this was the first time ANYTHING broke in 3 years and a lot of abuse. Hopefully next time.

Great pictures, the gully looks like good fun.

Always great seeing G's on the lanes.

Apart from the steps it's close to the lane from hell. See GDays previous post for what happened to the Disco

Christo, will let you know when the next outing is. 1st bit of decent snow we will be up there again (therefore short notice).
