The rear door lower hinge colapsed on my G so i had to start on the body sooner than i had hoped :x
I've simplified the internal metal work behind the quarter to dramatically cut down the rust traps.

How are you going to get to the lower hinge bolts?

I have simplified the tinwork on both sides to remove the mud trap but you have to let the fuel filler work on one side and the door hinge bolts be accessed on the other.... basically left with a "window" at both sides now with no hidden holes and then holes to allow for wax/venting.

Must be 3rd month off road doing rust/turbo.. must be ready for the snow at the end of this month

Did the same on mine. You can get at the hinge via the rear light hole, honest :)

If your mits are too big get a child / woman to insert the bolts
