What a superb video, I have just sent the video link and the photo of "G pulling Hummer out" to my hummer loving friends in US.

Well, their main customer is the US military and I don't see the US military buying the volumes thay buy of the Humvee from a foreign source.

This is the Hummer to buy. It's designed and made in Spain and it's got a Steyr engine! It has abolsutely no parts or anything in common with the Humvee bar a remote ressemblance:

The hummer that are sold to those stupid enough to buy them have nothing in common with the military versions, the name is licensed to GM to garner a bit of brand image for a c**p cheapo 4x4 with aim of getting those stupid enough to part with lots of there hard earned.......... In chesire on wednesday saw two enough said :D :D :D

ive been in a hummer, and its all show. it felt so cheap inside, but americans dont know the difference as everything is, even their 'top dog' escalades and navigators. my friend i went to stay with in the summer drives a navigator, and it dod look big and bold but it was all plastic inside, and the chrome is just silver plastic. surely a mog would do all of them out of size and off road ability...

If you haven’t seen it suggest you get “The Good the Bad and the Ugly” by Jeremy Clarkson (yes I know he’s an obnoxious git).

Pits Europe against the US of A.

Loads of laughs, one scene sets a new RR against an Esplanade and the pretend Hummer H2. Esplande get stuck and eats it’s own electrics and the H2 just breaks.

the hummer with the broken steering is one of the cheapo 4x4's with a hummer badge stuck on it, the military humvee is a totally different vehicle. Why the white one is stuck is odd. the cheapo hummer is built on the same chassis as a chevy blazer, they are crap i had one on our last holiday in california it was the worst car i have ever driven

Yes, that's about right. But you miss the fact that apparently an enormous amount of US army Humvees are out of duty at anytime because they break down so often.

The offroad ability of the Hummer H1/Humvee might be there but the reliability simply isn't

If politics weren't there, we would see GWagens replacing the Humvee in the US army.
