Exhaust blowing at cylinder head!
i was driving home tonight when i got a wierd clicking noise from the engine, but only when i put my foot down. lifted the bonnet when i got home and looks like the gasket between the head and manifold has gone! could see flames and stuff inside when i revved it. rang my friendly merc dealer who tells me the exhaust manifold gasket is 4 seperate pieces? is this true? and are there any trick or tips for changing them?
