Included are road, off-road and comparison tests, specifications and technical data plus a history of the marque and advice on acquiring a good pre-owned G-Wagen. This is an update of the other Brooklands' book. The editor has removed two articles from the Australian Overlander magazine from 1983 and 1985 but in return includes two others published by Autocar in 1985 and What Car in 1991, as well as some other 19 dated after June 1994 which is when the other book ended. A very recommendable book.

An excellent book, covering the different versions of the G, development's history, technical data, equipment, and many other interesting data. For all connosieurs and those who aspire of becoming one. 113 pages, with many colour and B&W photos. In German.

Unfortunately, this could me a good workshop manual but it isn't. Firstly because it focuses too much on the engines but more importantly becuase it simply leaves out the W463. 248 pages. In German.

A total piece of s***. I don't understand how can anybody have the nerve to sell a bunch of bad quality photocopies and call it a book. Save your hard-earned cash, unless you are as mad with GWagens as I am. 64 pages in B&W. In English.

A book celebrating the 25 anniversary of the GWagen, edited by the authors of the magazine of the official Mercedes Off-Road Club, with assitance by Mercedes-Benz. Very well documented and very interesting, but a few minor errors prevent me from marking this book with five stars. In English or German.

Excellent, as its predecessor, but with some itchy mistakes, totally unnecessary had they bothered to check their data. Many original pictures and some taken from Mercedes' official literature. A must.

Very interesting colection of magazine test reports on the G between 1981 and 1994 published in English-speaking countries. Unfortunately, being the British motoring press so loving of the GWagen, it even rates the Range Rover better as the G! 100 pages in B&W. In English
