Adrenalin G trip

I have just had the most adrenalin filled evening in years!! How does off-roading with no lights, 10’o clock at night sound? Or maybe a high speed “chase” with a G on hedge roads? Well that is what I have had tonight!!

We have been having a lot of trouble with poachers lately and got tipped off tonight about spotlight playing over our fields. This ended up with me driving without lights across pretty rough terrain to get into a suitable ambush position. Russ I have done the old quarry without lights!

This didn’t work as planned, because they went the other way. There were two cars, a Disco and what turned out to be a white Mondeo. When I got back on the road and switched the lights on the Mondeo flew away on this hedge road, with me in the wife’s little 230 after it. Who ever said that you can not drive a 460 in 4WD on the road forgot to tell my car. The back end was all over the place on the wet and muddy road and the Mondeo was getting away, but when I pushed her into 4WD the table turned. I caught up pretty quick and took the reg.

This is now a matter for the police, the 230 and I have done our bit.
