Another Lane from Hell !!!
Another lane from hell , well more of a peat bog than a lane . Got some great pics of our trucks on this years Argyll Forest Challenge . And with the aid of the Come Up winch both pulled through this killer section no problem
christ allan, I meant to ask you about those come up's, they still going strong. Couldn't make it this year, I was banned by the organisers, Ill tell you one day. Did that comeup really pull you out of that on single line pull
Yes, I seen this new one that Gigglepin have made. Were did you come in the end. How much are those new come up's. Have to say was impressed with the when I saw you using them in 2005

This is how to relieve stress ! Might not look it but it seems to work. Heres a link to a wee clip a friend of mine put on youtube
I agree allan, self employed myself which means some free time on my hands, but also the only stress relief I get from work doing this kind of sport. :?
more afc pics
impressive, those little come up winches, just bought one for the rear myself.
And someone will explain how this is benefiting the environment / keeping this "lane" open ?
Marcus
The lanes aid in the ventilation of these dense woodlands, giving the trees in the middle increased access to fresh air, the mud is a natural security barrier reducing the risk of people nicking christmas tree's.
The environment benefits as does the local economy, every ones a winner :D
Phuck me,
You should have the answer to Ken's congestion charge as well then Mark ?, Yes ?
Marcus
Fantastic answer Mark , join CRAG.

its an event ran in the Argyll forest every year, forestry commision land, they have bigger vehicles than these to make nice ruts in the ground.
Yip it sure did , one on the front is a new one with the old faithfull resigned to the albeit very busy rear end , I single lined and drove through to take the strain of a bit , after a wee while I stopped to become anchor for Davie , when I got to the road we paired the winches up and anchored to a tree across the road , this made for a suprisingly quick pull . As a point of interest there was seven twin motor Warns on the event .... seven failed.
