cv joint
started to do the front wheel bearings only to find i have a broken cv
where can i get one from or this one repaired??

The best price i have been given so far is £210 , This is a new cv not a reworked one as most people seem to be offering. Is this a good price to pay????
from who ??. MB will only sell you the complete half shaft and cv at circa £400.
All i can say is it is from the motor trade and the suppler was more than well-informed on all the diffrent types of gwagons +change of year cv.
This source only deals with the trade - not the general public.
Kashi 123 thanks for the info, the price is very cheep!! have you used them? if so how long have thay lasted?? I have a 1982 swb 300GD so which type do i need!! 12v or 10v
sorry, no I haven't used them. Just a link I saved just in case mine went wrong!
However at that price they can fail 4 times more often...

I have a short shaft with good CV. I have removed the boot though. If you can pick it up you can have it.
Thanks for the offer, i think i have got some new ones on the way for £120
so i hope to be back on the road soon
