AGM 2007
Any ideas when the AGM is to be held in 2007?
Need to know so i can book holidays around it.
Will the event but not the meeting be open to non members so that they can meet the happy band of G-Wageneers & maybe sign up if they are suitably impressed?
Well, I for one don't think that that is a good idea... you see, the day is free to members and it is about the only freebe they get for their membership fee. So those non members who would attend the day would have the carrot without the stick!
Will going to an AGM turn them in the right direction, doubt it, the forum would do that, after they have downloaded the past issues of G wizz, or is that only available to members ??. There are various events and play days posted on this forum. I am sure they can make there mind up from what goes on here.
Anyway do we need anymore, lets face it, out of the 400 or so, 9 times out of ten its the sames faces we see every time.

Is that so in the UK? In the rest of the world an AGM is a private party with strictly admittance by invitation. Yeah, I know the UK is different but not that different to the rest of the world!

members only but you can join on the morning beforehand
So you can't take your wife/girlfriend/associate?
People have always turned up in the past, and joined on the spot if they wish to make use of the facilities on offer or voice an opinion.
It's a bit unfriendly to turn away someone who has made the effort to turn up, don't you think?
