€40,000 for a 1990 250GD?!?!? Why would I pay that when I could get a 1999 G300TD Cabrio for the same price???

The 250GD is grossly overpriced... the Puch is much more interesting (extremely rare) but we don´t know the price anyway...

If you're upgrading from a 460, its probably cheaper to buy a newer G.
You need to upgrade the wing caps infront of the wheels, the entire grill, the front and rear bumper and the rear quarter panels (which he did not do), the mirrors and the lights. The lights alone will cost you nearly £200 for the whole set.
He probably didn't do the rear panels as that would also involve moving the gas tank fill and getting a new right side rear panel.
Then don't forget you will need to paint all the pieces to match and after all that trouble you still won't have the new interior or the smoother ride of a 463.
Also you won't be able to use 463 wheels as its a different bolt pattern.

Looks like they made a mistake when cutting and pasting sentences... 354 PS is the power of a N/A G55 AMG engine, whereas the power of a G320 (3199 ccm) is a mere 218 BHP, so there you are.
I am inclined to believe that this truck retains its original engine, specially when you think that it's only got 37,300 kms (23,000 miles).
It is declared as first registered in January 1990 so this is one of only six 230GEs with the Chassis Cab bodywork (in addition 3 more 461s were made in 1993). Additionally it is badged as a Puch so even rarer.
I love the hydraulics for operating the snow plough! I am sure they're asking for a bunch of cash though!
