463 driving with front prop removed

Can you drive a 463 with the front prop removed, I take it you would have to engage centre diff. Just need to check if the front prop is the cause of vibration.

I can't see it doing any harm. The manual says to disconect the front propshaft during dyno testing at full speed so that sounds ok.
But the 460 is not meant to be disconnected and I wouldn't have known that if no-one hadn't told me. Does the 463 have the oil pump in the t/fer box? I don't know.
Ian do you own a 463?

looking at cutting roof off making into a pick up, and taking V8 out and replacing with 240 diesel???. Hang on let me just take another stupid pill and i'll be back to normal. Christ this thing eats petrol.
