NEED HELP FINDING HIGHER W BULBS FOR INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.
I read with interest on the pointed three forum that higher w bulbs are avialable for the instrument cluster dials. I have always felt these lights were poor from the start.My G is in north cyprus so i am unable to pull one out and go looking.Has anyone got ideas where to get these and has anyone done this already?cheers-hussein.

The bulbs are extremely common. I found them in a Hella/Bosch distributor in Guildford but being OSRAM I guess they can be found pretty much in any auto electrical supplies shop. The standard ones (as in the pic) are 1.2w and the holder is black. The improved ones are 2w and the holder is green. I think that the rev counter has a different bulb but I don't have a 460 anymore so I can't confirm it.
And this is a rare weekend when my nails are free from dirt!

on last "cruise" in halfords, i saw these and more, many new LED tiny bulbs, and bigger ones for brake/tail light applications. Tempted to try them just for the speed with which they turn on/off.
