Unimog
Not a G but thought some of you maybe interested in the first of our new fleet of Unimogs. They get changed at around 10yrs. Amazing bits of kit, will go where a LR110 won’t look at and less land damage (tyres deflated / inflated from in the cab)
Not exactly a toy winch stuck on the front is it :D
There fantastic... What do you do ?
electricity board i would guess, or BT, 2 man basket for this kind of application. or could be a wealthy apple grower.
I was thinking more of, in a Carry on style window cleaner.
" Excuse me luv want your windows doin ? "
western power got a depot full of em about 15 miles , need em in 'hills have eyes' country!
You get to take them out on weekends Russ?. :D . Fantastic bits of kit, any driving jobs going at your place
Must ask the question, about how much do they cost? I would guess they are worse than Gs when new!
who supplied them Arthur Ibbetts of Great Paxton. Cost in excess of £90k I would say.
i love the look of these things
I saw this a few weeks back, sucking water to water the trees. Lovely machine....
That truck looks the bizniss jesus, that sort of workis done in cyprus a swell but not with a unimog.what is that unimog worth with that kit new and what could you pick one up for secondhand?I could just see myself doing that.......when i move back to cyprus oneday.what is it pulling water from?
I would love to drive one out in cyprus, and show those Hummer drivers what road presence is!!
The other day when I was on the train I saw a fleet of 3 BT Unimogs parked alongside the railway. Brand new and not a spec of dirt on them.
Looked very much like in the pics that Russ posted and with the double baskets but with BT logos on the doors.
