Greetings,

Having looked on the EPC (99 edition), the number found doesn't correspond to anything that works on the DC part prices website

Any assistance with an updated part number?
VIN WDB463227 27076191
Old number I found was A1248601147
Replaced by A1248600647
Must have been replaced by ...............

Hi I ordered one from Ebay shop STARPARTZ and is the same part as for the W124 series so only cost £1.99, fits on and works perfectly

From memory the reason there are two part numbers for this was due to a recall which was carried out by the dealers, something to do with the heated washer system overheating so they redesigned the nozzle (this applied to all models in the early 90's range). Mercedes actually replaced the part on my 190E 3 times un-necessarily each time I took it for a service, better than not at all I suppose and was free of charge :)

you know why that is, its free to you but the main mb pays for it. thats y my brothers new van has had: new turbo, new gearbox, 2 new steering racks, new heating system plus another load of work under warranty after being taken in with a complaint about the bumper!

So how much longer will they hold the Mercedes franchise I wonder, are they putting their arm in ? -- or are Merc trucks that bad ?
