G's on Lane from Hell
Joined TwoDogs and the Black Country Laners in South Wales for a bit of laning. Great weekend, Elvis came along on Saturday and directed us to some great lanes.
Almost came straight back home when i found out we were doing the Lane from hell. 3 G's and 1 LR going up TLFH with,, err, minimal damage :lol: :wink:

Richard, can you tell me what under body protection you have fitted, I ask as you seem to be some way ahead of me on this sort of thing. I may want to put some one and was wondering what is best. does any of the LR stuff fit? I know this is cheaper than ORC.
What are ye complaining for?
It looks like the road up to my house after the winter.
This is the only way I can stop the mother in law from visiting in her Micra.

moments that missed the camra are,
Mark on the tirfor with a rollup hanging out of his mouth ,
All the motors rocking on there chassis,s one after the other going up " The lane from hell " ( load thunder clap and wind machine ) . a bit of tirfor winching and a hi-lift sorted that problem out ,
Mark also towed a 90 most of the way up behind his G .
It was worth it to see Richs G making it look so easy :D

what G is Mark in, looks like a newish one.
2000 G300TD, although it has a "52" plate.

it can happen. a family friend finally registered his 2004 truck and its on 55 reg

i see new legislation comes in on 15th Nov, whats that all about then.
loads of ins and outs but loads of the classic lanes will be illegel to drive after that date , the word is the bill in Wales delayed but time will tell.
A sad time for anyone who likes a bit of freedom :(

looks like great scenery! hope that winch works while submerged..i guess there's an advantage to a hydraulic winch..but surely the electric ones are also waterproof. cliff seems to have been kept busy with that defender slowing him down :mrgreen:
