Parcel Shelf
Has anyone either bought or built a parcel shelf for their G?
i have to park the G in a public place, and it would be nice if everyone walking past couldnt see into the boot space, useful for anyone who has a cd changer or other technical kit too.
Any ideas or places to get one would be appreciated.

As a criminal psychologist I got to go to all sorts of places inc prisons with laptops and equipment so I used limo black out film and I changed the glass in the rear for laminated from a glazier incase someone trys to break the glass.
my 230 had the pull over cover so no one could see. anybody tried to locate one before?
I think that you are referring to the so called "MB Doppelrollo", very rare in 460 GWagens. The upper part acts as a flexible dog guard and the lower one as a luggage cover. I think ORC http://www.orc.de stocked them but they were never cheap

i cant see them on that site. i can see why they were expensive though, and it was heavy duty fitted. the mounts it slotted into jesus, were they on the backs of all the seats or just from the factory if you ordered the "MB Doppelrollo"?
I think the doppelrollo came with the slots to fit with screws on to the sides of your G
if fred reads this, maybe he could take some pictures of the one in the 230.

I HAD ONE IM MY G300DT, AVAILABLE AS AN MB EXTRA, I HAVE THE PART NO AT WORK, I WILL TRY AND GET THE PART NO TOMORROW IF YOUR INTRESTED?
I have a roll thing in mine. I think it is an MB part. Do you want a pic?

That looks more expensive than the MB part i had in my G, discription Rolling sun shade part no B66688601 purchased from Peter Harris Kettering Jan 1999 at a cost of £194.31 including a £10.00 delivery charge.
