off road weekend
As I was on holiday when the AGM was on I was wondering if anyone would be interested in an off road day/weekend at Woodlands Farm (near Brands Hatch, Kent) I have been told that it's very good - from novice (thats me!!) - to experts.
I can arrange a campsite with tents and a hut if its wet. There are toilets and a small washroom + BBQ and lots of takeaways close by.
The off road in about £30 per day depending on numbers (could be less) and there would be a small fee for camping and food again depending on numbers.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Regards,
Michael.
I would be interested its only down the road from and i missed the agm

We would be up for some camping, but sooner rather than later on in the year as i feel the cold.
But as Brands Hatch is only up the road do we need to? :?:
We could just venture up for the day, so count us in Michael.
:( But as our G is still in the garage being fixed don't make it too soon.
(Merv your advice was gratefully recieved today, quote from Jim ' that Merv was a very nice man but our local Merc spares dept are a bunch of w******' :!: (hope thats not too rude for this forum.)

Very interested,
Would make it a day trip up from Canterbury rather than spend the weekend, but sounds like fun :)
When you get specifics can you either post them here or pm me the details to confirm.
Thanks
We will do a day trip too, although Bob wants to camp so we might turn up in separate vehicles.
Michael, it looks like we have at least 5 vehicles so it must be worth making it a definate :!:
Got all weekends in October tied up, Hope that doesnt stop everyone else having fun!
Ok Michael meet you there.
Sounds very good, I'll be along on the Sunday morning :D
Shall we find a good place for sunday lunch? :D
I haven't got my G back BUT hopefully tomorrow and hopefully with excellent brakes, new wheel bearings and 12 months MOT. (and a big bill  :( ) I'll have to give them back the Mondeo with the dodgy fuel gauge
But the best bit is that I am now splint free so able to drive the off road course myself - being a passenger is just not the same.
I will see what i can find out about pubs etc for lunch. it needs to be kid and mud friendly i assume :?: :?:
Yep sounds like mine :o , must have been on a test drive. At least you didn't see it on the M25 heading north doing 110mph.
P.S anyone want a job lot of excellent quality toys - very cheap :!:
well, i am all set to see you all on sunday.
i just need to know where it is?
anyone got a map?
:D
Looking forward to sunday, lets go play in the mud :!: :D see you there :!:
Excellent day. As always, good to meet everyone. Lots of fun playing in the mud.
Drove most the tracks with my fingers crossed and eyes closed.
A very good play and pay site. Major highlight of the day was seeing Shauny & Dawny’s immaculate G covered in mud.
Thanks Michael for setting this up, looking forward to the next one.
Any pictures ???
easy site really, although without diff locks, would have become interesting, some good axles twisters, mark took the piss by doing the black runs with his newly aquired roof tent atttached. Good friendly bunch of people there as well.
We had a great time too and loved the fact that the immaculate blue beast is now muddy - inside and out :!:
THANKS Mark for the exciting ride round the deepest muddy bits, challenging in places I think (especially with your eyes closed and fingers crossed):x
And of course great to see the others, Ian, Jed and friends and Michael, thanks for the tec advice re my misfiring G etc :!:

Im impressed Helen, well done on photos
hi all
had a great time, not sure how I am going to bend the back bumper back into shape though.. :D It appears that the escape lane from the black run was more dangerous than the run itself.. oooops
car is still covered in mud, both inside and out even after six minutes with a jethose at the ARC carwash.
I have some photos I will put up when I get a chance.. :)
My two friends I dragged along are now shopping for a little suzuki they can strip down and wont mind if they break it.. :) I suppose I can tow it home when they do. :)
Cheers and great to meet people. :)
Give me your address and i will print it off and send it to you.
Hi Shauny,
Yes it would be possible to take your caravan!
There dosen't seem to be many people interested in the weekend - how about just meeting up on the Sunday?
