Re: Wales

Nice pics, the weather seems lovely as well. I'm curious about a couple of things, are those army michelins, 6" wide? and what on earth is the colour of your car on the V5..lol

Re: Wales

The tires look the business! How would you rate them for on-road behaviour..cornering, braking, etc? Or are they mainly designed for the rough stuff?
Sorry if that's too many questions, there's always more to learn!

Re: Wales

M2dxb ,
XCLs were used by the Army on there 110s for years seem to drive fine on road a bit noisy but i dont mind that seem very good off road ,
thay are getting hard to find now the only place i know that sells them is below

http://www.witham-sv.com/infopage.php?ID=841&Overide=1

you would need to check the speed rating .

all the best

Re: Wales

Thanks for the link, I remember spending a good deal of time searching for a seller online but gave up at the end. Wasn't too sure about getting it though as most of my use would be on-road, though nothing seems to come close for strength, 8 plies! I hear if you pump them up to 65PSI you can take a 4ton load..ideas ideas. Unless I can make it to Duxford this weekend...

Enjoy the weather while it lasts!

Re: Wales

Great pics, looks like an excellent weekend. The river and lake look very inviting, could have done with a nice lake at Eastnor, the pond there looked a bit rank.,
