What transmission bolts up to 603A Turbo diesel engine

Does anyone know what transmission bolts up to the 603A engine - the turbo version. I am not sure this engine was ever used in the Gwagen but it should be the same (on the outside) as the non turbo 603 and the bored out 603 D35A in the 350GD.

I think from what I read an automatic is probably the best choice to handle the torque. I am thinking of putting this engine into a 460 LWB LHD. But the question is, will the 4speed tranny (W4A 018 - 720.1 4-sp auto used in the 460 230GE,280GE,250GD,300GD) work or will I need a 4A 028 - 722.3 4-sp auto ( used in the 461 / 463 G290DT, 300GD, 23GE, 300GE (M103), 500GE, G300 (M104), G320 (M104), G350DT?

Ideally the 720.1 from the 280GE would work.

Will the 722.3 work in a 460?

Is there a 5-speed manual option - I understand the Getrag 5 speed is a bit weak for this application.
