i drive past a petrol station that sells LPG everyday and have noticed a slight rise in the cost of it, do any of you know if this is just on par with the rest of the increases or is it going to end up the same price as everything else, im just curious

Re: price of LPG

in answer to my own question

'In an endorsement of the environmental advantages, especially air quality in urban areas, the chancellor announced a continuation of the existing differential arrangement in the fuel duty between LPG and petrol / diesel through to 2009. This means that the price of LPG at the pumps will continue at around half the price of petrol and diesel for the foreseeable future.'

the full document is at http://www.boostlpg.co.uk/

also looking at their out of date fuel price photo, the petrol was 78.9 and lpg 39.9, and now petrol is 95-97p in my area with lpg at only 47p so thats half the increase in price aswell, nice to know for you with lpg

Meaning once more people switch we'll screw you for taxes on that too and make the price on par...
