MB UK have on order 100 RHD G55K's for the uk market. These will be available from now at a price of 100,000 euro's plus tax. :D :D :D :D
So those of with with loads of wonger, get your order in. Those of us who haven't, wait 3 years for a bargin :wink:
But I want the V6 diesel, none of them on order?

Let em build the thing first :lol: . Hopefully it won't be too much of a rush job, euro 4 is only round the corner.
The new Sprinter range is almost here, so the only Merc still using the 2.7CDI is the G, and i'm sure thats only euro 3 standard.
Slightly off topic, but very good news. So far journalist are refering the new Sprinters build quality to Mercs of old, terms like "carved from solid stone" are being used. That hasn't been said for a long time. Lets hope it's true.
All good news, I am just pleased to get my big red G back.

Seemingley its in the Merc magazine as I have had it named to me today by a coachbuilder.

They have been on sale for some time. I went to MB Mayfair in mid January and was told they were selling since Christmas. There was/is a black one in the showroom.
They already had sold some outrageous amount (like 12 orders) in the preceding 3 weeks.
He said that they were trying to get other models in, ie G400/500, but that MB was not budging on their stance on the G55K only.
I think if I am not mistaken that MB Mayfair is the main dealer and that all G orders from any other dealer go through them. At least thats how I understood it.

yes it was in the new official Mercedes magazine released last week that published it. Only the selceted few get one :wink:
