Does anyone know the legal towing weight limit for a 300GDL

Just wondered whether anyone knew what the legal towing weight limit would be for a 1989 300GDL.

Mark, thanks. It's just that I have someone who's saying a Landrover can legally tow 3.5 ton but a G only 2.8? Is that right about the Land Rover?

LWB (463's) G's from 1996 onwards are all rated at 3500kg towing weights. LWB 460's are rated at 2800kg. Not all Land Rovers can legally tow 3500kg's, but the late versions can, long or short wheelbase. (Unlike SWB G's)
All that shows is the different standards either manufacturer has as far as safety. How many time have you seen a SWB L/R, fully loaded trailor at 40 mph, it's not due to lack of power, the drivers crapping themselves :lol:
