Nato hitch to 460 ?
Hello all ,
I want to be able to tow my Sankey wide track trailer behind my 460 G .
can i get a adaptor plate to fit the nato hitch and keep it in line on the rear cross member ?

There is a bracket available - I've got one on mine with a pin hitch but it doesn't have a part number on it. I've seen them on german ebay but they fetch silly money. Rockinger may do them
I too have the adapter plate with the pin hitch on my BGS I will look up a part no. on the EPC tomorrow.

Are the rear windows on your the Brixmis motor you refurbed painted out or paneled ?

Painted out. But I do have a set of light armour panels.

do thay just replace the glass or bolt on very usefull offroading on tight lanes or shopping in Wolverhampton ...

I have both the replacement plate and the bolt on inti-riot grills.
I went up to mercedes today to price up the mount for a NATO hitch ,
how we laughed ....
anyway before i start fabricating has anyone got a mount lying around to fit a Nato hitch to a 460 that thay will sell ?

Two D I think these pics will be self explainining.
Modify the existing hitch to a receiver hitch, then fabricate what ever kind of hitch you wish to go in there, that includes a winch.
The hitch on G2 has the receiver type that you have modifyed.
I notice you have used a bedford size NATO hitch not a landrover one ?
its removed from the G2 at the moment i will have a closer look tommorow .
a dixon bate drop plate inverted will raise the hitch to use with my sankey ?

Great, I thought youd follow that, yes its a 9 ton cap hitch for recovery work, the landy ones can fly open.

Watch the postage charge. I've found the germans very good and fair, usually less than british but there was one crook who wanted 50euro - always ask. BTW anhangarkupplung is the german word to search - I got mine that way - just a pin hitch but on the real merc mounting plate, with rubber jaw insert, for 20 euro plus 14euro post. it comes straight of the rear cross member and at that height, think it's made by rockinger,
