Hello all,
My name is Cliff and I live in Dudley in the West Midlands .
Over the last few years like most have owned loads of 4 X 4 s, landrovers , Rober east german trucks , G Wagon 300GD, Volvo C303 6x6 , and 4x4 ,
I use them for greenlaning in Wales with me mates ,
The last volvo had to go as it was soft top and frezzin cold so the hunt was on for a replacement ,
It had to have diff locks so an other G wagon it is a 280 GE off ebay .
No log book or tax or MOT arrives Friday from Sheffield then the work and questions will start .
have a look at our green laning website below ,

http://blackcountrylaners.co.uk//

As the work on the G goes on so will the photos
all the best
Cliff

The wheel trick I have not seen, but somewhere on this forum are pictures of Peter showing how to remove the windscreen from your G in one easy roll....
