rear quarter panels
Theres a couple on ebay at moment, any ideas what they sell for new, I know they,re not that expensive just cannot remember how much or where from.

Original from Mercedes (readily available) are £45\£55, depending on side approx.
They are a much better job.
The seller states these are oversized to fit over old, can't be a proper job.
If they come cheap enough, factoring in additional labour etc, then go for it.
There was a string on here before, which in a nutshell said: stick to originals - better fit etc..

from previous knowledge go for the originals. even when they replced my front wing on my pug it never fitted right and a friend replacing a panel on his mgb gt v8 spent hours and hours fabricationg them.
go for the proper ones its worth it

But I would go for the real thing. These are bad copies.

Check out an old copy of G Wiz Service Providers: Body panels: Strobel-Autoblechtele they supply the factory direct? or used to do? tel 0049 6831 891381 fax 0049 6831 891360 £50 should get you a pair? + post/carriage! Make sure they arent the oversize ones, because they supply both types.

this is what the seller said,
"It is manufactured by a company in Germany called Autoblech or somthing like that, I had them fitted to my 300GD, for some reason I got 2 sets of them, and they wont take them back!. You do need to make sure that the fitter makes sure he welds these over the existing panels and works them in."
What do you reckon.
