Hi All,
I went to a Merc tuning company in Bottrop in Germany last week and take out a G fitted with the 6.3 v12 twin turbo engine…… Oh my god what a tool    it has the same acceleration 0-60 as the E class with the same engine which holds the record for being the fastest saloon car. But as you can imagine aero dynamics slow the G down above that, although 140 mph was seen on the clock.

The only downside is that because of the high torque low range has to be disabled to stop front axle breakage’s so its no use to me  but if I had two G's :?

It doesn't matter how you go bankrupt as long as you look good doing it

On a differant matter Peter, they also told me that the first 400 CDI'S were bad news  because of delicate fuel pumps and injectors which is why they stopped tuning them 2 years ago but are now chipping them again next year :D

Brabus told you this did they. Had new injectors in a 220cdi van 413 sprinter van we own recently. £200 pounds each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! only 50K miles. not impressed with these new engines, part are lots of money so dont go swimming in that new g of yours and get water in the tank.

Re: Brabus G

injectors are huge money. dads cousins are merc mechanics, they say you get the dappy women in mls coming in who have used the wrong fuel and the dealerships just put a new engine in now. petrol or water seems to kill them!
