Has anyone fitted any other type of door mirrors to a 460 other than the originals or the rare 463 type and if so what vehicle where they sourced from and do you have pictures.
thanks
Ron

Door mirrors

Hi Ron,

No, I have fitted 3 sets of 463 wing mirrors now, to the 460 model. Getting good at it, 1st time was a bit of a pig!!

There was a string sometime ago, about this - a black SWB from memory who fitted VW Camper mirrors. Looked pretty good.

Some of the older Jap import jeeps had door mounted mirrors and may prove suitable.

Good luck,

Re: Door mirrors

The coaster mirrors are available from MB Germany, for about 300 Euro.
This includes frames and mirrors.

Re: Door mirrors

Well spotted, Hunting G

Look good.

Noticed a few door mounted grommets on 461's at the AGM - these must be the pre-drilled locators.

Cheers from Ireland.

Re: Door mirrors

I'm just ordering some of these mirrors, cabin breather and cab mounts for a G project.
Looking overseas for a reasonable '88 or '89 300GD, RHD to cut down as a workhorse like the one below.
May even put them on my LWB, they look good and are functional.
