But not in a "G" wagen,
My 110BHP TDI Galaxy  does not like starting when the weather is hot -- like during the early part of this week, the injection pump was changed last year for this very same reason to no avail -- VAG Diagnostic does not show any faults and local VAG TDI "Guru" is baffled as well.
I should add that I lent said car to Senior Managment to take dog to Vet at lunchtime -- well one would not want to get the 290 Van dirty  -- and got an earful about "bloody cars that wont start" -- or words to that effect.
Any thoughts anyone?
PS When the Ford expires, I promise to buy another "G" instead -- honest -- as long as they go ahead and fit the NEW V6 CDI -- so thats my 50th birthday present settled then -- can I collect it from the factory same as one can with ordinary MB/DC car do you think?

Cor !
Wor Vincent got it sussed, a resistor at 26p is the answer -- simply cut two of the four wires going to temp sensor and solder resistor in instead.
Now if I can persuade him to breath on the 290 before Marty's Feb outing :D
