All being well We will be driving to Cyprus ( and back) in 2 weeks time. we will go through france, italy, turkey and north Cyprus. I have just renewed all the oils in the car, new fan belts ( no more fan), new K&N filter, also i am taking with me a headgasket set, clutch kit, etc. i Have just installed a 16 " Pacet fan -TCF1611P/636- cost around £155 delivered from pacet. The engine is revving so much easier now, and sounds much better as well. I have aircon installed in front so i removed the viscose fan and installed the pacet inside
i will let you know about the performance and economy ? wish me luck .

as word of advise take the viscous with as a back up, you can always bolt it back on if your pacet fails espcially the distance you are going

Shakir,
Sticking my neck out here ( & yours too perhaps ), have you any reason for changing clutch other than preventive?, what miles done on current clutch?, all I know is per some previous enquiries & replies that "G" clutches seldom give trouble/will take a lot of use & abuse, it will surely give due warning prior to total failure and you may find that you can get it replaced in France or Italy for less than at home -- depends on your nerves/luck /fluency in langues other than English of course, but I have had repairs done in Germany & Spain courtsey of little more than sign language -- I was younger = less sense then mind you.
Fingers crossed,
Marcus
