G wizz has just landed on my door. and two things come to my attention. Is the man that e:mailed tim regarding the G3, is he saying that the last 1 of only 3 is now in the USA. Surprise surprise, is it his

Secondly Tim is not up for editor after the AGM. Which means we will need to find another editor, I hope you not looking at me. I cant spell either  and my grammers crap, pictures are good though. Getting worried about the GWOA now.And Jesus will have left England for Spain by then.

I was even more surprised than you!

That Mr Botteman got a bit messed up when he wrote to Tim quoting my website http://mercedesgwagen.galeon.com and the feature on the G-Wagen forefathers that I have in it: http://mercedesgwagen.galeon.com/vacaciones751461.html

As for the picture reproduced in the G-Wizz:

I sourced it from the English magazine Classic & Sports Car from where I obtained the quote used by Mr Botteman:

Quote:
The only existing G3 out of only three ever made. Assigned to Gen. Lindemann, Head of Command in the Danish Occupied territories, it now resides in the USA

I remember having written Mr Botteman telling him that I did not know the whereabouts of that G3 and pointing him towards the author of the original feature in Classic & Sports Car. But I obviously forgot to copy Tim of my reply to him.

The current forum as you see it now was originally only met to be a test to gauge interest. This it has certainly done. The members section at the moment is more for member only events such as factory tours and other special offers open to members.

We are currently creating a new website which will offer much more to members online. Including back issues of G-Whizz, downloads, technical information and much more.

So stick with us and you won't be dissappointed.
