Recently removed me radiator to renew it only to find bottom oil hose VERY tight eventually it undid and I discovered that the thread on the radiator was knanckered, resulting in a new radiato. I think there must be a reaction between the alloy of the rad and the steel of the union( bad design!) should be copper. Unfortunately the threads on the oil pipe look bad and I was trying to remove the pipes complete only to discover they wont un do in situ, so unfortunately that means taking off the oil filter housing.Am I at risk of upsetting any oil pumps or anything or is this straightforward? Help!

Problem solved! One of the allen key bolts had completely rounded off! :( So I used a good pair of mole grips on it and luckily it worked!
