ABS problem, my warning triangle has been lighting up imtermitently, it can be reset by switching the ABS button off then on again, then it will remain effective for an unpre dictable length of time .Has any one got advise on how to tackle this or must I see the main dealer.

I wouldn't take it to a main dealer. The ABS system, although somehow specific to the G (for its off-road capabilities) is largely based in the other saloons' of the marque. I would take it to any Mercedes specialist instead. Loads of knowledge and you don't get ripped off automatically.
