Spider - was that the one saw being towed away from Salisbury Plain last year?
PS are we doing Salisbury Plain this year - my friends on the dark LR side are up for it.
Ignore me....I just wish I had my SL engine in my G. Really my G is very good. No rust, good engine, LPG'd with a good system. Nice audio, it's great, but it has such a tiny engine

When are you out on the 'plain again?? Mind if I tag along in my 110 or 90?
I only live about half hour away from there.... am usually out once or twice a week laning around Swindon and onto the plain... i love it out there.

Well my fellow G Wagen'ers sounds as if a few people are up for a play? Before I venture into the brown, silty mud of the 'pain', I will need to get a few things on my G sorted, however....... if people are up for it, I am happy to arrange......
But ..... I am just wondering if its 'Bravado' ...... I mean it would mean your G's all dirty and muddy....
And Panzer, no it was not, Don't know what you mean....must have been another G

Will have to show you sometime how the Disco fairs against a G . Last time we went round in the G's we were ushered off due to the LROC having a bash down there, something like 2,400 Landies were due to turn up.
Whereas the best do I have been to was up in Dent (both times) where we had about 15 G's turn up, better food, wine and IMHO company! *sniff*. Infact I will regale you with a true story:
A member of the GWOA has a 'fetish' for sprinter vans and has one of only 4 in the UK that is a 4x4 and decided to bring it up and come with us across all sorts. There was a bit where we all trundled up a hill and there was a pair of Landy Defenders who were waiting at the top - fully trigged out with all the winches, spades etc etc, and their face's were a picture as we all came up this hill, no mega tyres, no winches and so on and then up comes our London Member in his Sprinter Van, well the bloke just sat there his sandwich hanging out of his mouth....well and truly gob Smacked!

Well why not - its been a while

But seriously, if that did happen (again) I would need to get some things sorted on it first. Would like to get the newer headlights and a new 'this' and 'that'. But I would just remind members how cool they can look a) when its a 463 and b) when its a 500 Petrol machine!
