 Hi chaps quick question;

    I need to remove the wiper switches on the 463. How do you best get them out as I have an extra walnut vener on my facia and dont want to damage it..it also restricts access to the front of the switches... I can get to the back of them through the glove box. Do I just push? Also bulbs in the Diff lock switch how to repce those? (indcators lights work just night light bit?

     As site going down an e-mail to bradspad@blueyonder.co.uk would be good

           Cheers

                 Paul

Re: Wiper Switches

 I presume you mean rear wiper switches?
You have to to take steering wheel off ( 27 mm nut)
Remove wood trim, , horizontal strip, 1 srew and just a push fit.
you should see screws that hold central panel in place, you will also have to remove radio to get the two srews ( 8 MM nuts) that hold it in at the bottom.
There is very little give behind this panel so you have to use extreme care and patience.
You may be able to prize switches out without removing whole panel, but its not easy as they are tight and I think you have to use a flat bladed screwdriver to help ease them out, from behind.

Re: Wiper Switches

Night time light is not really fixable. You need to dismantle the switch which is difficult and then do some miniture soldering

Re: Wiper Switches

 I think a new switch is about £30, has anyone succesfully replaced the backlight bulbs?
Re Difflock switchs onlys the engagement bulbs ( Red light) is replaceable, so best to memorize switch positions!

Check out the website as it describes how to replace the bulbs. I have not done it.
