Wing mirrors....

I finally got around to replaceing my refurbed central console today complete with a nice new cig lighter supplied by Sherlock H. I replaced all the switches, seat heater, fader, window and mirror. Everthing works as it should except the mirror. It was working when I removed it and I've taken in and out several times to ensure it is properly connected. No go. Any ideas, I did wonder if in removal I blew a fuse...but then the ignition was off.......a possibility??

Ideas appreciated.

I hope you have kept all the old switches as spares.

How did you get the lighter out?

Sorry, replaced switches as in put the old ones  back in place. The only new part was the cig lighter and socket . How did I get that out?.......with considerable difficulty and a lot of patience!!
