Re: wing mirrors

Good morning Ricky

Yes you can retrofit the later mirrors to en earlier model , however mounting holes are not the same so its not a simple bolt for bolt swap. The mounting plinth on the later 463 mirrors will leave some holes on a 460 exposed , so these willl need filling and painting. The major problem is the cost of second hand 463 mirrors, they are serious money.  There are various options if you want to look for aftermarket mirrors , some people fit a VW transporter  mirror , i have fitted a pair of mirrors from a Toyota Previa during my resto , i think they look OK. have a browse through my gallery , see what you think.

Re: wing mirrors

There are two versions of Toyota Previa mirrors you can buy one has electric fold , one doesn't. Mine don't cos i'm a tight yorkshireman .
The mirrors are going to be body colour  whichi think is going to be black, depends on how the bodywork goes. If you go for the toyota mirrors you will have to make a tapered plinth type spacer to level the mirrors ., easy enough to do.
