Window Seals (Front) GES300
These are $42 a pop from the fourbyfourclub site. Does anyone know (that means you Mr Helme...
) if they are cheaper here?
More importantly, are they a pita to fit?
Just got my Jallop back and now have the benefit working brakes (braided hoses) I can have lots of fun!

MBUK have the outers in stock and are common and easy ish to fit IMHO
MB Germany have the inners, not so common and easy ish to fit IMHO

What about Sunroof seal? Are these hard to fit?

Which seal, there are about 6 main seals on the roof and frame, they are nearly all PITA

Just fitted a couple of window scrapers (thanks Gav).
Take great care removing the old ones as the spring clips that hold them in may be corroded.If broken they would be very difficult to replace. I soaked them in WD40 first - 6 per window i think - and then prized them open with a small sharp ended screwdriver and eased the old one out a clip at a time.
Refitting is great fun but once you have done one the second is easy.

PS Mr Helm is much cheaper than £42 or even $42 ($1.54 to £1)

You could have had it but it now belongs to Mr DVLA. I transferred my new reg (H16MBG not H15 MBG...long story!) I had the option of giving it to Mr DVLA or paying £105 to keep it. Decided not to part with the squids.

Hi Gav...Many thanks, yes I think I'll go with all four ie two inners and two outers. I will of course require a full refund plus 35% shoud they prove difficult to fit!!!
I'm flip flopping on the TT. Seems I don't need the con-rods adjusting....Hmm
