Is that captain Manwearings G? (aka Howard)

this is an outstanding vehicle, exceptionally rare as when it was manufactured there was no rhd production, a one off, try it out before you dismiss the colour. It is also something of a bargain!
yes it was howards, as he has bought a 461 HD axle G wagen van,an even rarer model . The white 461 was collected from howard yesterday. H paid £15k for it 8 years ago.
Why is it not for you ? what do you need to know about it ? can offer history if nick hasnt been forthcoming
would have been more of a bargin if bought from howard direct !
howards white 461 is an oppurtunity not to miss !! thats a fantastic G, owned by true enthusiast... i would advice you go and see it close up and test drive it too.
hey ian, WHATS THAT green commercial G ????? is it r reg ? , looks rhd ?? what are HD axles mate , do you mean lower diff ratios...? please update me on this beast !

Looks perfect to me.
Tom Sheppards had no wheel arches
The green one is badged styer puch, as it was imported by automotive technic, it's the wider hd axles version with lower ratio diffs, payload it gross 4.6t, Tom shepards is STD, and purchased direct from Germany. The previous owner of the green puch, which he had sprayed green for his tree felling business, was John fish, who also owned a 500' and sold it to Roly, and his g560 off roader to some welsh gezzer, never to be seen again.
There are quite a few rhd hd axled puch g in the uk, as the west Sussex fire brigade have a few.
howard has hit the nail right on the head ! a fantastic G !!! proper expedition vehicle this one. would look great parked outside the hilton
HOW MUCH DID IT COST IAN ?
Don't think it cost Ian anything, ;-)

Knowing Howard, he charged to take it away.
£4k less than you want for your 560 :0)

where is howard btw ? is he no longer a member here ??
what plans does he have for this one ? obviously he is fitting the miltary diesel neck with external filter
[i want first refusal on this one guys, so everyone lay off ! how long does howard normally keep his G's]
happy motoring howard.
Out of interest, is the car I originally mentioned - the car Howard sold to Wheelhouse - the car featured in the article about Libya in G Wizz Spring 2011?
Yes it is
Cheers chaps.
I have spoken with the vendor and I don't believe this one is for me.
The search for an auto SWB 463 continues :)
Thanks to all those who offered advice either via this thread or PM.
