Wheelers Dealers GWagen Episode
I don't know whether this is a repost, but I just found it and it's worth watching in full:
It was bought by SHAKTER. He was thinking of sellng it recently but I think he changed hos mind.
It was a good episode though. I recall it was shown on Christmas day 2012. Nice colour too and unusual look without the spare wheel on the back.
I think it is still without the spare!
thanks for posting the link we still haven't had this episode yet
in SE Asia
I've got this episode saved (and "locked") on my SKY box!!!! SWMBO is under strict instructions not to delete!!!
Said on program they took a deposit from someone abroad ? , they done cosmetic work on it and didnt even put the protective cover on the disributor !

They initially said that someone from Cyprus had expressed an interest (?Hus?). In the end it went to SHAKTER in London. He is on here occaisionally.
H , he said he took a £2k deposit , obviously telling porkies !
I see it is available to buy - given that owner is a member I wonder if anyone would like to comment on it's asking price - £14,875?

I'm a new member and interested in a 463 SWB. I don't really want it for off roading but, to me, the price is a bit scary.
those two did obviously not know how to use the diff-locks (or they were not functional)
I noticed too that the front locker certainly wasn't engaged.
I suppose it would make for boring TV if the G just walked up the slope with no 'action'...
15k for a 300GE??? I paid £11k for a G320.
Hi Pok, welcome back, it might not be the bargain you think it is if it's a straight six m104 engine with a crumbly wiring loomplus you are in Deutschland and its a left hooker
In fairness, althougth the asking price may be strong, I think the palte might be worth a fair bit. I considered buying it, but in the end got H16 MBG for next to nothing.
The wheeler dealer G still looks great though. I wonder where the spare is kept - hardly just thrown in the back storage space ?
Pricey alright

He doesn't have a spare wheel or the fitting for the carrier, I know this because he was looking to buy one a while back. Can of gunk I guess.

I thought it was a 103....
Greetings all
It's been a while since i've logged on to GWOA. This is my car indeed! Genuinely sad to have it up for sale but I feel the car is not getting the use it deserves. I'm in rush to sell whatsoever (which is probably a good thing given the way G Wagon prices are going!) but would love for the car to go to a caring home.
I did manage to locate the fitting parts for the spare wheel carrier. The car also came with the spare wheel cover/carrier. i just haven't got around to attaching it to the car! Lazy, I know.
I feel the car is competitively priced given the current market, inclusion of spare wheel cover/parts, and also the private plate.
Anyway - good to be back on GWOA after a while. Hope you're all well.
Regards.
Poks car is a g320 lhd petrol

Ah... :-)
Old topic I know, but I've just watched this (didn't even know WD had 'done' a G-Wagen).
Quite enjoyed it but agree with previous comments re items ignored...
More interesting for me as the car I have just bought is more-or-less the same.
Clocked the A463 MGW immediately, sad old car-nut that I am!
Does the car still belong to a member here, I wonder?
Hi
I don't know what became of the car but when it came up for sale I was running a 463 300ges and made a tentative enquiry as to whether the plate could be bought separately and yes it could and I still have it.
I'm currently attempting to restore a 460 ragtop so the reg remains on retention
I found those too quite laughable, if you ask me...
The wheels are not original, the spare wheel was missing, there were large non-original speakers mounted in the rear and those two did obviously not know how to use the diff-locks (or they were not functional) or else they could have climbed the small hill at the MB Brooklands test track without wheel spinning...
Other than than, a very enjoyable video...
