Hello bocaj,
I have not viewed this episode myself, however, I have asked my nephew to record it for me.
I am going to visit him this week end and watch it then, I will see if this can be put onto disc, which I could send you a copy.
I'll be in touch by PM after the week end and hopefully exchange details to post it out to you.
Cheers,
The 300 GE LWB belongs to Club member Geoffrey Hunter and was formerly David Watkins

Really enjoyed that 3-parter video.
Disappointing end-sale result I suppose - could probably have waited and found a better buyer, especially since he got the personal number plate in the bargain - not bad - understated and nice touch.
There was a lot more elbow grease and running around put on that car than the video showed, so in terms of good return for the work - I don't think they pulled it off. Also surprised they didn't even mention or look at the normal weak points, or find some other more mechanical parts that should be changed (disks, brakes, shocks etc).
Ultimately, that is the reality of buying from dealers - they mostly can only afford to do cosmetic stuff and hope the rest will be covered by an off-the-shelf-but-difficult-to-claim-on warranty. Of course, buying privately may be no different, but with 10-20% in hand to start with.
(edit: acknowledging that what was done here was more than just a cosmetic cover-up!)
Some points:
1.- I think that they should not have been messing about with changing the grill. The car looked fine as it was before.
It's like sticking andAMG badge on an non AMG vehicle, which I think is pretentious.and misleading The wheels did not look original either.
2.- What happened to the spare wheel at the back? Do the new Ge, run on "run flat" tyres now?
3.- Is the sale price achieved representative to the condition and age/mileage ??? I have no idea. Some input from the poeple in the know will not go amiss here.
Apart from that, it was great seeing it at the Brooklands offroading testing grounds doing all the tricks.
