Welsh May Bank Holiday Weekend

Richard Wells has planned another Welsh seaside weekend! Please make a diary note of the 2nd bank holiday in May starting on Friday afternoon/evening 24th May at Abereiddy on the Pembrokeshire coast just 4 miles north of St. Davids. Also only 12 mile south of Fishguard in case any of our Irish friends can join us on the weekend.

What's on offer? Well, apart from the promised sunny weather we are staying at Celtic Camping which offers comfortable bunkhouse accommodation combined with a spacious campsite in really beautiful surroundings. The sea views are incredible, the sunsets over Abereiddy are superb, we can park on the black sands beach, swim in the sea or the blue lagoon. Cliff-top walks are spectacular, seals, blue butterflies, food and ale at the famous Sloop Inn at Porthgain Harbour - all will make you forget a miserable winter. A chance to meet old friends again and meet new - and moan about how we all enjoy running G-Wagens.

If you're interested in coming then please let me know on 07710 819200 (a text will do!) so I can get an idea of numbers etc for the bbq.

Also give Ian Griffiths a ring (Tel 01348 831682) at Celtic Camping, Pwll Caerog, Berea, St. Davids, Pembrokeshire SA62 6DG so that you can book camping at £8 per night or a place in the bunkhouse at £16 per night all included. I will send you a brochure upon request.

Visits to St. Davids, the lifeboat station, trips round Ramsey Island, Stumble Head and maybe a spot of the off-roading are all there for the taking!

Do come - should be a good weekend!

Feel really guilty not being able to attend this event, especially as its local. Good luck with it and hope everyone enjoys.
