Water!!
I've recently purchased a 460 swb (the one rups was selling) and I've noticed that water is getting in and ending up in the centre console. Im assuming its getting in through the air intake under the intake grill on the top of the bonnet. What normally fits in here to stop the water getting in?
btw, there is load of flooding in Dublin at the moment, its great to be able to just drive through it!!
thanks all

How deep is the water you are driving in to get in the air intake on top of the bonnet????
Your air intake box must be collecting rain water due to the drainage hole being blocked. First remove all leaves and lumps of dirt from it and second there is a rubber grommet with a hole in the middle which should be clean of dirt to allow evacuation of rainwater. To unblock it just stick a finger though it (excuse my french). This will allow water to evacuate before reaching the inside of your G.
Cheers,
I can now see that reading my post it may seem that the water is a result of driving in very deep water, lol, that is not the case. The water is rain water, and yes there has been a lot of rain,
Hope this sorts this out
still lol
