 Please can anyone help me source a radio atenna to fit a 460 a post. Or a part nnumber my local MB agents are struggling. Thanks

 I am assuming you are after the manual antenna.

Antenna manual: 66828048 - manual (I suspect this is an incomplete number)
Bracket: A000 827 13 14
Pad: A000 827 01 97
Pad: A000 827 02 97

Alternative antenna number: A460 880 20 06.  Check with dealer before ordering!

Also prepare yourself for the cost.

I think they are well north of £120. Falls into that category of 'reasuringly expensive' that afflicts some G parts.

Can't find the exact details - I did have the parst pic from Merc, but even I decided not to bother - and I am not known for avoiding spending when it comes to the G :-)

Hi

Just looking at the options 4 u

The "incomplete" number Rakesh provided is a German supplied accesory part and should be prefixed by a "B" so B6682 8048 and will probably be a Hirschmann manual type, not sure yet if its right or not?

Hi

The Aerial Rakesh suggested has changed number to A000 820 19 75 £52 +VAT and MB Germany have stock, cant see what it fits though unless he can state where he got the number from? I would assume an accessory catalogue?

I have come up with a number from one of the small trucks....
 
MAST A001 827 22 01 £29.70 +VAT MB Germany have stock
BASE A000 820 53 75 £17.30 +VAT MB Germany have stock
STAY A000 827 05 35 £2.45 +VAT MB Germany have stock

I guess as long as you dont mind drilling a few holes in your pillar then most should fit!!!

Not many models list a pillar type aerial

Late update on this...

Rakesh's number is correct and that is the factory supplied pillar mount option for the 460. Fits up the drivers a pillar.
