Having new rear wings fitted, what is the best underseal to hopefully resist excessive road salt etc?

Re: Underseal

Mechanically clean with twisted wire brush .. needle gun if you have mill scale. Ideally sandblast.

I use zinc rich primer from Bilt hammer but to be honest go straight to 2 part epoxymastic like Jotun Jotamastic repair paint; this is waterproof so stops the oxygen and hence the rust. Then coat with a pretty top coat if you want (and use that paint under the external/shiney paint too..).. then go to 3120 or similar Dinotrol wax followed by the solidish 4190 Dinotrol. You can kill rust with Fe123 or similar. Most of this is on www.rust.co.uk but you can get the stuff from elsewhere like Jotun instead of epoxy mastic paint as they call it.
