Thought I'd share this. Another Trip out with my local club, Armchair Laners around the South Devon lanes. http://www.armchairlaners.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1935.0 I have just had my G's sills replaced with 3 inch box section so I feel alot happier on these more extreme lanes as I won't kink the lower body shell if I drop onto a rock. Having said that I don't think I touched anyway. I was lead car on this trip so it was a bit more difficult as I couldn't watch the others first. The final white Paj made short work of the Devils Steps having watched everyone else, very impressive for a Truck with no axle lockers. The big tree took alot of shifting. Don't mention the Guy on top of it.....he was warned! I'll put a post up about my rock sliders when its dry enough to take some picks. Enjoy Paul

Re: South Devon Green Laneing

Thank you for your contribution of photos. I had thought Green Laning to be a docile event or to put it another way, one of your guys' is wearing a sweat shirt with "armchair green lanner" or words to that effect, very apt to my perception but as evident from your photos it can be much, much more.

I am not sure if it is OK to cut up fallen trees though?

Hi Rakesh, Yes the devon lanes are abit rough and tight! Cutting through fallen tress or over grown trees is fine, but it is rude to take the wood away. cheers Paul

Looks like a great laugh...

Some good shots of the replacement sills on the other forum thread smiley

Very similar to what Steve Kirk has done on his black 460

Yeah on the link you provided in the head post, picture 63 shows a reasonable front shot and picture 110 a rear shot!!!

Great set of pictures...

Yes Thurcroft is not too far away, work in Doncaster and Sheffield (amongst others) and get thru Maltby quite often

How long since you been up north?
