Something to ponder!

 Anybody else see this on Ebay? Auction is on US Ebay, but the vehicle is currently in Netherlands, apparently. Personally, I feel that "$99,000" is rather a lot for a pick up truck and that the first bid of $30,000 is probably a little more realistic, but who knows what somebody might be willing to go to! 

I think I'd want to know more about the methods used in extending/reinforcing the chassis and, also, what has been done about the wheel bearings, if anything. Interesting looking vehicle though; looks quite good in matt black.

Or, you could wait until West Sussex Fire Brigade decide to dispose of some of  their twelve (12) Steyr Puch Super G  290 drop-side pick-ups with removable hard tops, supplied by the now defunct Automotive Technik Ltd.  At least then you'd have a chassis that was original equipment.
