Silver 280 GE spotted
Seen yesterday (Sun 31st) not far from parliament, silver 280 GE. Registratioin plate was combination of 3 letters then 4 numbers. Was in a black cab not my G. Gave him a thumbs up out of the window but no reply.
First one I have seen on the road since I bought mine in January.
At least the taxi driver had the decency to sound interested!!!

That was me, sorry did not see you.
Only just got it back from a year (and several thousand pounds of work) at a specialists so have been taking it everywhere, was on the way to the gym on Sunday. Everything has more or less been replaced underneath, drives perfect, just needs the bodywork doing (handily my family run a body shop) but was too impatient and wanted to drive it straight away.
They are an awesome car, love the way they drive and now mine has a stainless exhaust it sounds great. Even parrell parks well despite the 32" BFG AT's.
Just out of interest, were you up by Ealing way on the north circular road around 4ish?

No sorry, at four would have still been in Islington.
If you are London based do you know anywhere good for parts, Chelsea Mercedes are hard to get hold of.

OK, I'll let you off then. Was going to leap out and slash your tyres for being ignored by the first one I have spotted on the road, but thought that wasn't a particularly friendly thing to do. Not surprised you didn't see me really. In a black cab in London, mmm? Mine is a silver 463GDS and you are right, they are great.
