Side indicator and diff lock light.
Hi all, I hpoe you all had a merry Christmas, a couple of small niggles have reared there head in the last couple of days on my GD 300.
firstly I have noticed the small right hand side indicator has stopped working, I had a quick look and im not too sure If I can replace the bulb or If its a whole new part?
Secondly the front diff lock light now glows slightly whenever the engin is running but goes out totaly when the break is pressed then back on again when you take your foot of the break!? As usual any help would be appreciated, many thanks.
I think you are referring to the repeater light on the wing; the bulb in this lamp can be replaced.
I cannot quite remember if, the lens can be unscrewed off to replace bulb or the repeater can be pulled out to replace the bulb.
I do remember, however, with the lamp removed there is a possibility the socket falling back in the wing, in which case you are in for a fishing expedition.
RE: diff.lock light, I can only suspect poor earthing point or loose wire, if not something more involved.

Re side indicator , unscrew small fixing screw remove light assemble slowly there is a plastic pin that secures into wing dont break it ! then remove bulb holder from back of lens by pulling out then got access to the bulb . It just pulls out so dont try to twist it ! , cheers

Hi all, thsnks for your help on this one, side indicator now fixed, still a faint glow on front diff lock but seems to be getting less and less.
