retractable dog guard

Does anyone know the part number for a retractable mesh dog guard for a 463 LWB?

UNLESS I am mistaken, I did not think M/Benz did these types of dog gaurds. They do one or two, but the construction of which, are quite strudy, hence the expected cost of them. I feel, the retractable one is an aftermarket, universal fitting guard.
Ideally, you want a dog cage, like the Police and RSPCA carry for the Dog safety in case of any incident where Dog could be runing free in danger of other traffic.
Otherwise, Sorry, I can not be of help here.
I know the part you mean but I think that they're only available for models built after 2005. If you go on to the ORC website, I'm sure I saw one there. we have one in our old e-class estate: it is merely a mesh, certainly nothing that could keep a larger K9 at bay. If you've got big dogs, you might one to have a look at a fixed one. good luck/ph
