Replace steering Wheel on a 463
I was thinking about replacing the old steering wheel on a 91 463. A local scrappy has a nice merc steering wheel from an E300 with part No A221 460 21 03 9C29.
Anyone tell me if this will fit and any tips on replacing ?

That is from a 216 CL 2006 Onwards or a 221 S Class 2005 Onwards

From experience you need to find something from the same era up to mid 90's

mmm.... doesnt sound like the one I'm looking at. Don't see any wires or connectors for air bags and the seller claims its off a E300 from 2002. From the tinternet - it looks like this one.
Could the A221 460 21 03 9C29 actually be A212 460 21 03 9C29? That would make it an W212 E Class but still later than 2002 unless its a A211 460 21 03 9C29? Then we could be on a 2002 W211 E Class...
Won't this obscure your instruments effectively? Wheel removal ever so simple, 27mm socket,a gentle tap from a fist behind the wheel, a bit of trial and error getting it in the straight ahead position,
Thanks for advice guys. I'll leave this one alone - something not stacking up with part number and description. I'll look for another one closer to vehicle age. A Few choices on eBay.

If it was from an E300, wouldn't the part number start A124?
As a mater of interest, will a 124 steering wheel fit 463?
